Manion was killed after a gun
accidentally discharged in Clarke
County.

two Virginia State troopers to this
scene, ten miles outside of Winchester.

After arresting two people in the
truck on alcohol related charges, the
troopers began clearing the scene.

As the damaged truck was being
moved, a loaded gun discharged,
striking and killing Trooper Kevin
Manion.

as word of the troopers death spread.
