during qualifying.

NBC Sports We pick things up on lap 49.
:00 That's when Jeff Gordon squeezed
Tony Stewart into the wall.
Both drivers suffered significant
right side damage.
To lap 80.
Dale Jarrett gives Jeff Green a
push, and Green is worse for the wear.
He slides back up the racetrack,
as J- J Yeley, Carl Edwards, and Kyle
Petty get stacked up as a result.
Stewart just couldn't keep his
nose clean.
The defending series champ cuts
off Matt Kenseth, who led plenty in
this one.
Kenseth goes on a wild ride thru
the grass, and back up the banking into
the concrete.
Stewart was assessed a rough
driving penalty.
And then Kenseth voiced his
displeasure by swiping at the 20 car
exiting pit road.
Kenseth, too, was penalized.
Johnson got the lead with
14 to go and held off the cars of Casey
Mears and Ryan Newman in a green,
white, checkers finish to win his first
Great American Race.

Weighing a whopping 33- pounds,
this nine-year-old cat is still in good
health.
The fat feline has a waist
measurement that rivals a HUMAN male,
31-and-a- half inches.
His owner says the cat's belly has
grown to such proportions because of
his big appetite-- he eats six pounds
of chicken and pork a day.
Cats are susceptible to a range of
illnesses, including kidney trouble and
diabetes, if they are allowed to remain
overweight.
