local resident in Sunday's murder in
Old Southwest.

victim... William Wellington King was
found in Sunday morning around nine in

just off Sixth Street.

Police say he was 49 years old
but they haven't released any more
details about him.

Police have now charged Andre
Wayne Hunt of Roanoke with murder.
He's 30.

at Patrick Henry is heading to court.

VO-NAT Today, 29 residents who live near the

school filed a lawsuit against the city
of Roanoke.

They claim the city illegally
approved the zoning for a stadium at
PH.

The suit also alleges the city failed
to follow its own comprehensive plan
and held meetings without proper public

after a six hour standoff.

and casino.... Guests were evacuated
from floors 9 through 24 while police
surrounded the building.

A swat team stormed the room on
the 20th floor and took a man into
custody.

Authorities say he killed another

for six hours.

Both the gunman and the dead man

were reportedly guests at the hotel

By the way, the casino remained
