by state lawmakers yesterday.

killed after a gun accidentally went
off in Clarke County Saturday.

The trooper was working an

loaded gun inside fired.

Manion was struck in the chest
and died a short time later.

rescued a burglary suspect over the
weekend.

at a construction site for more than 13
hours on Saturday.

Firefighters had to cut away
bricks and pull him out by his feet.

They say Berta was extremely cold
but not seriously injured.

realized he'd slid down 13 feet and was
at the bottom of the fireplace.

They charged him with Felony breaking
