Felix Pork, who was certain to be
a prosecution witness, was indicted
yesterday on a charge of possession of
marijuana with intent to distribute.
You may remember that last week -
Pork was arrested and charged with
grand larceny after
police say he walked off with a cell
phone he had asked to borrow from a
clerk at a Suffolk convenience store.

Yesterday The Homestead is one of the ski resorts
where there's been more than enough
snow all winter, but getting enough
skiers to come out has been another
matter.
One reason may have been the skiing
conditions LAST winter. It was mild
then, too, enough so that The Homestead
had to close the slopes for a while.
No such problems this year. The Hot
Springs ski area expects to remain open
with good skiing well into March.
