Flyers vs. Dazzle Former Patrick Henry high
superstar Curtis Blair was back in town
as one of the referees for the game.
At times there were four former
ACC players on the court at the same
time - but a man from the CAA was the
one playing above the rim. Anthony
Terrell threw down not one, not two,
but three impressive jams in the first
quarter alone as Fort Worth showed
those in attendance why it was on a
five game winning streak.
But Roanoke battled back from
double digit deficits several times.
Anthony Grundy led the way with a game
high 33 points.
And he got some help as Will
Bynum had 11 assists - this one to Seth
Doliboa who turns and shoots after
getting free along the baseline.
*CG final Ft. Worth
123 Bynum also scored 23 as the
Roanoke Dazzle beats Ft. Worth 126 to-123.

High Point vs. RU The Highlanders came in as the
four seed while High Point was seeded
5th.
Radford would work the alleyoop
in the first half Whit Holcomb Faye
throws the nice lob to Chris Oliver and
he throws it down as the Highlanders
make a statement.
Holcomb-Faye would then get
another assist as he kicks it out to
Dan Ross. Holcomb Faye finished 33
points and five assists.
High Point would just hang with
RU the whole way - Mike Jeffrson drives
in, gets fouled and scores - he would
finish the game with 19.
*CG final High Point RU put four players in double
87 figures, as Reggie McIntyre scores on
Radford the break, but Radford's season ends
84 tonight with a 87-to-84 loss to High
Point.

Atlantic Shores vs. Catholic A trip to Petersburg and the
:00 final four was on the line tonight in
division two as Roanoke Catholic hosted
Atlantic Shores from Chesapeake.
Catholic was banging the boards
hard tonight as Aurimas Adomaitas gets
the tip in of the missed jumper to put
the Celts in front.
Then off the nice baseline drive
- Napier Alleyne (ILENE) scores on the
sweet little jumper off the left side.

Roanoke Catholic Phillip Martin gets the hoop and the

Gray will replace Lorenzo Ward.
Ward has been at Tech since 1999
coaching defensive backs and putting a
pile of players in the pros including
De Angelo Hall, Ronyell Whitaker, Ike
Charleton and soon to be Jimmy
Williams.
Ward's departure means Frank
Beamer is replacing four coaches - the
biggest turnover on his staff in more
than a decade.
