for people to realize how much he's

The monstrous giant squid goes on
display at the Natural History Museum
this week - in London.

The creature is more than nine feet
long. It was caught off the coast of
the Falkland Islands in March 2004.

Scientists know very little about giant
squids, and much of what we do know
comes from the remains of dead or dying
specimens, many retrieved from the
stomachs of whales that eat them.
