Jean, Investigators tell me more
people came forward and more
information started to come out.
The latest charges date back to
the summer of 2004.
41 year old Karen Susan Patton was
arrested for a second time this week.
She's now accused of having sex with a
second 13 year old boy.

Patton was a teacher at Scott Memorial
Middle School for a year and a half.
She resigned last month after the
iniatialinitial charges surfaced she
had sex with a 13 year old boy at her
Wytheville home.

Patton is now accused of three more
felonies, including contributing the
the delinquency of a minor and carnal
knowledge.
She's also charged with assault and
battery involving a third, 13 year old
boy. The Commonwealth's Attorney says
that charge involved unwanted touching
and is not necessarily sexual in
nature.

Boy's Hoops team still unbeaten heading
into the State Quarterfinals is rather

team.
