VO-NAT A Rhode Island woman who threw a
message in a bottle into the Gulf of
Mexico has gotten a response.. years
after the fact.. from a Hurricane Rita
victim.
She delivered the letter while on
a cruise two years ago.
This November, they received a
response from a man in Louisiana.
He wrote the letter two months
after the hurricane devastated his tiny
town.
The woman believes the reason
behind her message in a bottle was so
she could help him.
