with a double murder.

33-year-old James Andrew Morell and
19-year-old Jeremy Scott Kevin Carter
on two counts of murder and attempted
robbery.
Deborah Pearl Vaughn and Brenda
Marie Wright's bodies were found inside
an apartment along Tinker Drive in
Northeast Roanoke, February Tenth.
Police say more charges are
pending.

Marcus Vick was in court today, where
he plead guilty to charges that date
back to last year.

In December, Hampton Police
stopped Vick for going 38 in a 25.
Police then discovered he was
driving on a suspended license.
That charge was reduced to
driving with an invalid license.
Today, Vick plead guilty and was
fined 236-dollars.
He'll be back in court next week
on three misdemeanor charges of
brandishing a firearm in a McDonalds
parking lot.
Those charges came days after he
was kicked off the Tech football team.

Traveling 17-hours on a bus to
paint someone's house isn't exactly
what you call an ideal spring break.

But, for these 14-Boston College
students, they wouldn't have it any
other way.
The group is part of a university
program, where students give up their
spring break to help communities in
need.
They'll spend the entire week
fixing up more than a dozen homes in
the Hollins area.

The students host fundraisers
throughout the year to help pay for
their trip, including all of their
meals and a place to stay.
In all, about 700-Boston College
students are taking part in the program
-- in places as close as North Carolina
to the hurricane-ravaged Gulf Coast.
