It's not clear how big the fire
is, or what started it, but officials
say it is contained in an area away
from any buildings.

Parts of Yellow Mountain Road
were closed for about two and a half

The Blue Ridge Parkway around the

But, forestry officials say by

been less than ideal.

Smoke covered most of the

fought the Quarry Fire.

Now, with containment lines

pulled out.

A skeleton crew of forestry
