a fatal shooting.

Officers arrived at a home in the
600 block of Henry Street around three
this morning -- and found 44-year-old
Tony James Harris dead.
Harris appeared to have been shot
multiple times in the chest.
Police have detained a man
believed to have been involved in the
shooting.

explosion occurred is safe enough for
workers.
Although some miners and family
members remain uneasy about the mine's

continues to improve safety measures.

suspect in a brutal murder.

Littlejohn raped and killed 24-year-old
college student -- Imette St. Guillen.
In a news conference today,
police said a DNA match *was made*
after Littlejohn's blood was found on

large boxes from Littlejohn's home. He
remains in police custody on a parole
violation, but maintains his innocence.

Nation's Capitol today, where thousands
of parade-goers gathered near
Constitution Avenue.
The parade included Irish
dancers, cultural groups and high
school marching bands.
Yesterday in Chicago -- the windy
city held its 51st annual St. Patrick's
day parade.

bands, over 50 floats, and hundreds of
Irish dancers took part.
The city also celebrated the
holiday by dying the Chicago River
green.
St. Patrick's Day is this Friday.
