Dan Brown's not being sued...it's his

London's High Court has been hearing
claims from two historians that Dan
Brown lifted THEIR ideas as the
foundation for his best selling

THEIR book, a 1982 NON-FICTION work
titled " Holy Blood Holy Grail,"
explores the theory that Jesus Christ
had a child with Mary Magdalene --
and that the bloodline survives to this
day.

DAN BROWN HAS NEVER MADE IT A SECRET
THAT THE DA VINCI CODE IS BASED
HEAVILY ON HISTORICAL RESEARCH.
IN FACT, HE SAYS HE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY

BRINGING THE BLOODLINE STORY TO

In a statement released Monday, Brown..
A NEW HAMPSHIRE NATIVE, said he
remained 'astounded' by the choice to
file this plagiarism suit....
adding ... "to say I have hijacked and
exploited their work is simply
untrue."
What is UNDENIABLY TRUE is how
dissecting Da Vinci Code fact from
fiction has in itself become big tour
business....
I FIND THERE ARE MERITS AND DEMERITS ON
BOTH SIDES WHICH ISN'T A VERY
SIMPLE ANSWER I'M AFRAID.
It COULD get serious: the court case
threatens to delay the May release

And just two flights down from
Haldis Gunderson's apartment in Norway,
bar employees were horrified to see
water pouring out of their beer taps.
Turns out, someone at the bar had
hooked up the hoses wrong. The problem
has since been reconnected.
Gunderson laughed about the mixup,
and joked about having the pub send up
free beer the next time she has a
party.
