Route 460 in Giles County and wrecked.

The accident happened last night
in the westbound lane of Route 460 near
Route 641.

Police say a SUV was attempting
to pass a pick-up truck when both
vehicles lost control.

Both drivers were taken to the

hospital.

Neither of them had life
threatening injuries.

State Police are still
investigating.

yesterday morning -- and found
44-year-old Tony James Harris dead.

Harris appeared to have been shot

Police have detained a man
believed to have been involved in the

this morning.

The victim told police that three
African-American males displayed a
handgun and demanded specific items
that he was carrying.

controversial energy project in
Highland County.

the 60-million dollar Windmill project
in July, but it is still pending
approval from the State Corporation

Commission.

Supporters say the project would
provide tax dollars, and a clean energy
source for the county.

scenic views, and could disrupt the

other small wineries in Virginia will
have to follow a federal court mandate
that would force wineries like Peaks of
Otter to hire distributors.

But, there is one problem with
that.

Johnson says the biggest wine
producer in America sells about
75-million cases of wine annually
-where the Peaks of Otter only produces

about 25-hundred cases a year.
