In the last two years, 20 pedestrians
have been hit by cars in the town of
Blacksburg.
On Virginia Tech's campus, the number
is ten.
In response, the university put in a
roundabout to slow traffic down near a
busy intersection.
Several crosswalks were also
repainted with brighter colors.
There's even a message on the roadway
alerting drivers to look for
pedestrians.

stole five brand new computers from
Back Creek elementary school Friday
night.

In the last two years, 20 pedestrians
have been hit by cars in the town of
Blacksburg.
On Virginia Tech's campus, the number
is ten.
In response, the university put in a
roundabout to slow traffic down near a
busy intersection.
Several crosswalks were also

There's even a message on the roadway
alerting drivers to look for
pedestrians.

throw out the death penalty in the case
Moussauoi.
The prosecution revealed Monday a
government lawyer coached seven
witnesses before their testimony in a
direct violation of the judge's order.
Moussauoi.. the only person

has already pled guilty.. but this
trial was to determine whether he would
get the death penalty or life in
prison.
Today the judge is hearing from

Collins, Junior, entered into a plea
agreement.
Collins pled guilty to eight
felonies including sodomy and
aggravated sexual battery.
Police say the charges involved
at least three young boys under the age
of 13.

Kimberly Simpkins lost her 14 year old
daughter Amanda in an A-T-V accident a
year ago. Now she's pushing for a law
to require A-T-V riders to take a
mandatory safety course and get a
permit to ride. Simpkins plans to talk
