neither side is winning.

A third believe the U.S. is
winning the war, and the rest think
Iraqi insurgents are.

When the question turns to
stability and order in Iraq, it's
pretty close. 48-percent say "Very
well" or "Somewhat well", while

52-percent believe it's either
"Somewhat badly" or "Very badly".

The numbers weren't so close over
civil war.

Almost two-thirds of those
questioned believe such a war will
erupt in Iraq.

investigating a fatal industrial
accident last night in Henry County.

It happened around eight o'clock

at Knauss Snack Food in the Beaver
Creek Industrial Park.

Authorities say 19-year-old
Francisco Alejandro Garcia of
Martinsville was cleaning an industrial
machine, when he died.

Garcia was a contract worker for
Knauss.

He and two other workers were in
the facility when the incident
happened.

Henry County authorities and OSHA
are investigating.

An autopsy will be performed on
Monday.

Many believe Meck lost his job
because he complained about delays in

the New River Valley today on drug
charges.

be crack-cocaine dealers.

Among the items seized were

military fire jets were escorting the
plane for unknown reasons.

After a four-day manhunt, Hinson
was captured yesterday near his home --
after asking a neighbor for water.

Hinson was sentenced to 20-years
in prison for raping a 12-year old girl
in 1991.

a run around the city.

Roanoke Catholic sponsored a fun
run, and 5-K race this morning.

482 runners participated in both
runs.

Proceeds from the race totaled
around eleven-thousand dollars and will
benefit the Roanoke Catholic
Educational Foundation.


Organizers say the runner who
came out on top was Zack Edwards.
