have determined the cause of a house
fire last night.

pipe.

night after he was bit by a tiger.

Officials say he was drunk when
he put his hand inside the tiger's
cage.

The tiger then chomped down on
his hand, which left him with a

Wildlife officials say tiger
bites are so damaging because they have
extremely large teeth.

According to the man's sister, he
will be okay.

'Arkay Packaging' is relocating
its manufacturing business from New
York to the Roanoke Valley.

The company makes high-end
packaging material for pharmaceutical,
cosmetic and beauty companies.

Officials say they plan to create
about 20 to 30 new jobs.

Arkay currently employs about 215
people, 150 of whom work here in the
Roanoke area.

Galax.

Sara Lee is the latest company to
announce cuts.

Its branded-apparel division
slashed 334 positions in Galax.

Gary Larrowe (La-ROU) says the region
must transition into a new economy.
