GRAPHIC=MEN'S FINAL FOUR The Duke Blue Devils saw their

season come to screeching halt tonight
at the hands of LSU.

CBS-NCAA Productions Coach K and J.J. had a little :00 heart to heart chat at crunch time, but
it would no good tonight.

The Tigers just kept J.J. off of
his game all night long. He made just
3 of 18 shots and committed five
turnovers. he finished with 11 points.

Shelden Williams did his best to
keep Duke in the game. He dropped in
23 for the Blue Devils.

But Tyrus Thomas sealed the upset
in the final minute - first with this
breakaway jam off of the inbounds play.

And then just a few seconds later
he swatted away this Greg Paulus shot
in deep. *CG final LSU
62 But this play says it all. Still Duke with a chance, down by five - no one 54 boxes out the shooter for Duke.

played at G.W. Danville.

That was until Wednesday when the
former Eagle took part in Spring

familiar number 20 but this time in
Maroon.

(LEWIS BITE:)

Lewis had been playing baseball
in the Cincinnati Reds organization but
couldn't resist the pull of the

Lewis is technically a freshman

GRAPHIC=MATT HAGAN Matt Hagan has come a long way in

hurry from his days as a student at
Auburn high school and Radford
University.

Since the start of this year the
23 year old had been making quite a
name for himself on the pro drag racing
circuits. After making it all the way
to the quarterfinals in his first ever
NHRA Pro Modified Drag Race in
Gainesville, Florida last week, Hagan
is now on his way to San Antonio Texas
for a big IHRA event this weekend.

ENG#=2 VO-NAT

VO-NAT After this weekend he will stay

in Texas and take part in the NHRA
O'Reilly Spring Nationals in Houston.
Hagan was one of just a handful of
drivers invited to the legendary Gator
Nationals - and his performance last
weekend has definitely gotten the
attention of even the sports' elite
drivers. Hagan also plans to make

several runs this summer at the Motor
Mile Dragway in Radford.
