So what went wrong?

Certainly, two teams playing on it

Today, the field is in much better
shape thanks in part to this turf

Panthers vs. Maroons We pick it up in the fifth in
game one. Roanoke is on top and in
control as Ferrum's Amber Ware gets
caught looking by Lyndsi Craig - the
former Lord Botetourt star.

Craig would get some help from
her battery mate Erin Ruitenberg.
Watch her make the tough play all the
way at the back stop. She makes the
catch and then guns down Tricia Moore
who was trying to tag and steal second.
Roanoke stays in front 2-to-0.

Ferrum would get one of those
back in a big way in the top of the 7th

as Lindsey Etherton, the former
Staunton River star rips a solo shot to
deep center.

Ferrum gets within a run, but
Roanoke wins it 2-to-1 and takes game
two 5 to 3.

VO-NAT Experts say new fuel economy

rules released today will save nearly

eleven-billion gallons of fuel during
the lifetime of vehicles sold between
2008 and 2011.

Automakers must raise
average fuel economy on light truck
class vehicles to 24 miles per gallon
by 2011.

The federal rules were changed
because of growing concern that
American drivers are too dependent on
foreign oil and because of rising
prices at the pump. (END VO) (END VO)
