Monday in Martinsville.

finished installing a t-v antenna on
this 400-foot radio tower.
The men were coming down from the
tower, using a cable-and-pulley system,
when the cable apparently broke --
dropping them 30-feet to the ground.
Harrington was pronounced dead at
a nearby hospital.

announced it will soon offer non-stop
service between Roanoke and Orlando.

until school administrators learn more
about allegations that several team
members raped an exotic dancer at an
off-campus party.

charged, but a woman told Durham police
she and another dancer were hired to
perform March 13 at a private

beaten, choked and raped by three men.

three players no longer a part of the
Virginia football program, coach Al
Groh made the announcement on the eve
of spring practice.
Brooks is joined by former team
captian Tony Franklin -- who was
suspended for two games last season,
and defensive end Vince Redd --
suspended for one game last season.

lease with the city ends in May and
it's been no secret the N-B-A has been
moving its minor league teams westward.
Roanoke is just one of two teams
left in the south so it's unclear
whether the team will return.
The NBA is expected to make a
decision about the team's future in the
next few weeks.

carrier will only be 135 dollars for a
round trip ticket to Oralando.
Allegiant Air begins service on
May 24 -- with one flight on
Wednesdays, and one flight on
Saturdays.
There's a catch for that
introductory rate however -- tickets
have to be bought in the next two and a
half weeks -- and used by November.
