today, as a Roanoke man indicated he
would not contest the D-N-A evidence
against him.

Thomas Lee Crowder, Junior, entered a
plea of "no contest" this morning...
almost 19-years to the day after Bertha
Summerdal was killed.

In addition to the "cold hit" the state
lab made on a D-N-A sample taken from *CG locator Roanoke April 1 SUPER
April 1, 1987 Crowder last year, police say he :14 admitted having been in the victim's
apartment on April 1, 1987.

There was also a blood palm print
investigators say belongs to Crowder.

elementary school.

Last Week Tomorrow, students at Dudley
Elementary will be allowed back into
two classrooms that were closed during
a recent pesticide scare.

Some students became sick after
an exterminator applied the pesticide,
malathion, near the rooms to get rid of
ants.

But, the department of
agriculture ruled the school was safe.

School officials say the rooms
have been thoroughly cleaned.

They say they also notified
parents about the reopening.

years swept across the Atlantic.

best place to view the eclipse.

Tens of thousands of tourists agree--
as they gathered along the Turkish
Mediterranean coast.

The show in the sky lasted only a few
minutes.

The last such eclipse in November
2003 was best viewed from
Antarctica--meaning very few got to
actually witness it.

The next total eclipse will occur in
2008.

Both are Charged with Felony
Breaking and Entering with intent to
commit assault. It is related to a
Fraternity Brawl that occurred in the
early morning hours of March 3rd.

The University will wait until
the criminal process plays out before

Osborne was a first team

are in Tacoma, Washington this week.

Randall's High Diving Racers are
performing at a boat show.

The pigs' owner say they love to
dive, because they don't have sweat
glands and they like to keep cool.

But one little piggy performer was a
bit hesitant before taking the plunge.

Randall says it's up to the
individual pig to decide whether to
dive off the platform.
