Nationals vs. Avalanche Here's what opening up on a
Thursday night with good weather and
plenty of parking can do for your gate
- the lots were full and the lines were
long tonight. 4853 the attendance
figure tonight.

And you can run, but you can't
hide as Salem catcher Lou Santangelo
rares up and throws a rope to Edwin
Maysonet who applies the tag to end
this Potomac threat.

The Nationals thought they would
do the same thing, but instead Lou

Montz fires one into the outfield, and
Wallace Torbert easily steals second on
the play.

Salem would finally break open a
scoreless in the 5th as Matt Cunningham
singles right up the middle, just *CG final Potomac past the shortstop. Wade Robinson 3 scores from second. Salem needs three Salem more in the 9th to pull it out as the 4 Avs win on opening night 4 to 3. The

got worse.

In the top of the fourth, Brandon

over the left field fence. The two run
homer chases home Ian Reynolds and the
Titans take a 9 to 0 lead on the
Knights in the fourth inning.

The Hidden Valley bats would just
keep cranking in the same frame. This
time Sam Brediger goes to the opposite
field and Zach Helgeson (HELL-GUH-SON)
will trot in from third on the play to
