accused of molesting one of his
students has been found NOT guilty.

11 year old boy in the middle of band
class.
It took the jury less than half
an hour to find White innocent.
White has been a teacher for 33
years and was less than four months

again.

These prices are actually HIGHER
than the national average.
Here is a look: the national average
is 2- 60 a gallon for self serve

Roanoke's average is not far behind at
2 dollars and 52 cents a gallon-

is on the way.

A team of engineering students
has the only ethanol hybrid in
production.
Tech was one of 17 university
teams selected by the U-S Department of
Energy and General Motors to develop
the next generation vehicle.
These students used an E-85
engine...which runs on 85 percent
ethanol and 15 percent gasoline.
Ethanol is distilled from corn
and produces fewer greenhouse gas
emissions.
The Vice President of Engineering
for G-M even showed up at Tech...to
take his own test drive yesterday.

Virginia's capitol building are
uncovering the secrets of her past.

paint in the Senate Chamber, they
discovered ornate scroll work designed
by a Richmond sign-painter.
That and other findings, like an
elevator cage from 1910, are being
restored to their original glory.

Cave Spring Post Office has been
indicted on embezzlement and mail fraud
charges.

money from the soda machines at the
Post Office over a two- and- a- half
year period beginning in April of 2001.
Coca Cola paid for the privilege
of installing drink machines for Postal
employee's use. Crouse allegedly

her use.

1994 Though Crouse is accused of
stealing barely 500 dollars, she faces
2-million dollars in fines, if she's

GRAPHIC=Christopher Bell It was the sharp eye of a Grayson
County deputy that re-united a missing
Virginia Tech student with his family.

Chief Deputy J-B Johnson first
saw Christopher Bell on Tuesday near
the point where the Appalachian Trail
crosses route 603.
After catching a news report on
the disappearance, Johnson returned to
the Troutdale area yesterday and found
Bell walking along the road.

initially gave a different name, but
relented after the deputy showed him a
photograph.
Bell returned to the Sheriff's
Department, where his father later
picked him up.

Triple A says crude oil is over 67
dollars a barrel.. and it says a report
out this week forecasting a busy
hurricane season may also be affecting
prices- That's because there's a fear
that oil refineries could be damaged.
