"these people have become our

Cities all across the country played
host to immigration rallies as people
both for and against immigration reform
continue to make their voices heard.
nat
This issue is clearly an emotional one.
Blanca Lopez
My Dad came in 1980 and he crossed the
border through Tijuana and (crying) for
me to be here is an extremely
sentimental issue because If it wasn't
for him my Mom and I and my family
wouldn't be here ..
While the issue has split ordinary
Americans, It has also caused waves in
Congress. The House passed a bill that
would increase penalties against
illegal immigrants and those who hire
them and build additional barriers
along the border. Political manueving
killed Senate legislation that focused
less on punishement and more on
integrating illegal immigrants into
society. There's still a long way to go
to bridge the ideological differences
on Capitol Hill.
Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA)
"everybody agrees there's an enormous
problem, and everybody agrees with the
border security lines. And there's
general agreement that we have to craft
a compromise"
While Congress is away on a break,
pressure on lawmakers to act increases
, several cities are expecting even
larger rallies Monday .

That left it all Lefty. He make
birdie on 15 to give him a 4-stroke
lead. over the entire field and then
he would bring it home from there.
Mickelson putting in a bogey on
18 for a 2 stroke victory and another
Green Jacket, his second straight
major, he won the P-G-A last year.

Nascar Images By my math that means 10 drivers
had a chance to change that trend as
they were all in the field.
One Driver hoping to win was Greg
Biffle who has had a rough start to the
season. It just got worse when Kurt
Busch who was a lap down got into the
back of him and that sent the 16 car
for a spin. And then Biffle's
girlfriend none to happy with what
happened on the track went down to the
Number 2 pits and told them about it.
More trouble for the Rousch Cars
as Carl Edwards in the 99 who was
leading during the race at one point,
he got a bit loose would tap the
outside wall. Tony Stewart just missed
getting hit by Edwards as he was
sliding down to hit the inside wall.
Late in the Race, Kasey Kahne was
able to win the race off pit road after
a caution flag and he goes on to blow
away the field from there to pick up
his second win of the season and he
becomes the 11the different driver to
win at Texas Motor Speedway and then he
got to talk to the media wearing a
Cowboy Hat.
