Roanoke police believe are missing and
endangered.

seven-year-old Chloe, five-year-old
Rachel and three-year-old Victor were
last seen earlier today at a family
member's house in Northeast.

Police say the children were
taken by their non-custodial parent,
36-year-old Angela Michael Lance.

Lance is believed to be traveling
in a 1992 blue Mazda hatchback with
license number YFR-4257.

Police say she doesn't have any
money and they're worried about the
children.

If you have any information
you're asked to call the Roanoke City
Police.

holding fees, 200 for the tow and 75
for cleanup. young took 90 dollars off
the bill in return for what was left of
her car.

someone that has lost such a big part

widening most of the interstate.

They include adding nearly eight

move freight from trucks onto trains.

have put their preliminary stamp of
approval on a two- year budget that
sets aside a billion- dollars for
transportation.

Delegates met tonight to review

the deal.

House leaders believe taking
transportation out of the budget will
end the current impasse and allow
lawmakers time to cool- off before
coming back this fall for a *second*
special session dedicated to
transportation spending.

Democrats offered several
amendments to the deal that were shot
down by the Republican majority.

The House also took up the
Senate's latest proposed spending plan,
which the Speaker ruled was out of
order.

That's because the Senate tacked
their plan onto the so- called caboose
bill, which is only intended to make
adjustments to the state's current
budget.

bills passed by the General Assembly

this year, Governor Tim Kaine has
vetoed seven.

people *without* concealed weapons
permits to store firearms in their
glove compartments.

Kaine says the bill could put the
lives of police officers in danger.

Another bill would have required
the Board of Education to address

Four of the other bills vetoed
would have weakened the governor's
power to appoint people.

The legislature will consider
whether to try overriding the
governor's actions during next week's
veto session.

EDUCATION 7 ANIMATION has approved a 137- million dollar
budget that includes a pay raise for
employees.

Administrators had to cut three
million dollars from other areas to pay
for the increase, but they say the
final STATE budget could free up more
than a million dollars.

Tonight, school officials also
briefed the board on their review of
the city's magnet schools. They said
five schools want to maintain their

magnet programs, while eight others
have recommended alterations.

More meetings are planned with
stakeholders before a final
recommendation goes to the board in
May.

Richmond as the head coach at VCU and
this afternoon he was in Oklahoma
taking over as the new boss of the
Sooners.

He's just 31, but his college

and a women's basketball player have
been arrested at UVa.

Late Monday night Charlottesville
police arrested rising sophomore
offensive lineman Zak Stair, junior
offensive lineman Eddie Pinigis who
played high school ball at Jefferson
Forest and issued a warrant for Vincent
Redd - who already had been kicked off
the team.

Stair and Pinigis were charged
with Entering a property with intent to
damage.

Redd has been charged with
obstruction of justice.

Also, Enonge' Stovall
(EE-non-gay) a freshman on the women's
basketball team and a Parade
all-American was charged with entering
property with intent to damage.

These arrests are related to a
fight and break-in at the Delta Upsilon
fraternity last month involving dozens
of students.

A Swedish video game entrepreneur
who crashed a rare Enzo Ferrari last

year in Los Angeles is under arrest on
suspicion of grand theft.

A sheriff's spokesman says the
Ferrari was one of three high-ticket
cars Stefan Eriksson moved from England
to the U.S... But detectives say the
cars are actually owned by British
banks because Eriksson wasn't making
his payments.

The wrecked million-dollar-plus
Ferrari, has been confiscated. Eriksson
