(END SOT) list of suggestions is being called.
The city intervention comes as a direct
result of complaints from drivers who
received costly bills after being in
accidents.
While there is a limit tow companies
can charge for towing cars off private
lots,....right now there are no caps on
pricing concerning accident
response...so surveys were done by the
city of surrounding areas and across
the state to come up with a pricing
guideline.
(list the prepro of prices
125 for a light duty tow, which would
be a normal car, 25 for cleanup, a 25
dollar fee per day for storage that
kicks in after 24 hours plus a 50
dollar DMV processing fee for vehicles
that are abandoned by their owners.
1:51:36-45 many agencies take the
state code private property,
incorporate in public tow, which limits
them to 85 dollars, that's all they can
recover from that
The city has a list of operators it
calls by turn when there's an
accident...right now, driver one could
get a different company than driver
two...something the city doesn't want
accident victims to worry about.
1:28:15-26 that they can have a sense
that when police call in a tow company
there's i don't want to call it
fairness, but equity if you will.
1:49:58-01--at times several hundreds
of dollars difference
At first glance....
1:52:52-58 there has to be space there,
two miles, versus one shovel, two miles
of it, that's different......
>>

OQ=...NEWS 7 SPORTS."(END SOT) << The Radford native stepped into
the best situation of all the new
assistant coaches - at least on paper.
The top five receivers from last
season are all back. The problem is
that those five weren't always as
productive as they could have been -
and Sherman must find a way to help
them realize their potential.
KEVIN SHERMAN
If Sherman's past means anything
- the receivers will have record years.
As a high school receiver himself
Sherman wore number one and was a
Friday Football Extra star in the
mid-80s under one one of his mentors -
Norm Lineburg.
KEVIN SHERMAN
What he didn't learn in Radford -
he no doubt picked up in college at
Ferrum playing under the legendary Hank
Norton. His teammates included Chris
Warren - so Ferrum rarely threw the
ball - and players rarely strayed off
the narrow path mapped out by their
coach.
