the evacuation of a Campbell County
business for almost two hours.

in Campbell County last night left one
of them dead, the other injured.

They found 35-year-old Donald Moon

The accident shut down the
northbound lanes for several hours, as

think of the most talented football
prospects your mind will most always
drift towards the beach and the
Tidewater area. That part of the
Commonwealth year in and year out is
hotly contested on the recruiting trail
and is a priority for all the colleges
in-state, including Virginia Tech.
That is one of the main reasons that
Frank Beamer hired Curt Newsome.

The Hokies hired Newsome from
James Madison which was his first
College Coaching Job and where he first
had to recruit.

One recruiting tool that helped
Newsome nab 18 in-state player for
J-M-U this past signing period was the
Dukes new Football facility the
Pleckner Center which has now been open
for almost an entire year.

Both Newsome's current and former
team open the 2-thousand and 6 season

the national champion Florida Gators
today to take over as their new head
basketball coach.
Anthony Grant, the right-hand man
to Florida head coach Billy Donovan for
the last 10 years was named the next
coach at VCU this afternoon.
Grant is 40 years old and
replaces Jeff Capel.

J.J.'s friend Adam Morrison - the
Gonzaga star has decided to pass up his
senior season and enter the NBA draft
this June according to the Seattle
Times.
The official word is expected to
come tomorrow.
Like Redick - Morrison was a
concensus all-American this season.

company to operate the tavern.
Bountiful Blessings Catering is
local- it's been in business for five
years.
It'll start out providing lunch

will also cater Explore Park programs.
