The District at Valley View.

Mall officials made that
announcement this morning as they
unveiled architectural drawings of the
new development.

NO SUPER and the shopping center was renovated
in 1999.

The expansion will be 76-

thousand square feett and be built in
the northeast quadrant of the mall
property- it'll feature of variety of

Jean, Chief Tartaglia says
Roanoke's Tactical Rescue Team is one
of six in Virginia and his crews are
constantly traveling throughout the
state to train.

Tartaglia says all that training
does come at a cost, but on days like
today, he feels like that money is well
spent.

Hospital following emergency surgery to
repair a leaking iliac artery aneurysm.

The iliac arteries supply blood to the
legs and the surgery to correct this
type of rare aneurysm took place on
Tuesday, but at the family's request is
was kept private until today.

Dooley coached the Tar Heels to
three ACC titles from 67 to 77, and
then coached Tech for nine seasons -
winning 64 games before leaving in
1986.

He also coached at Wake Forest,
where he led the Demon Deacons to their
first bowl appearance in 14 years and
was twice named ACC coach of the year.

Two weeks ago, a student at
Margaret Beaks Elementary school found
this little duck nesting underneath a
piece of playground equipment.

The mallard laid ten eggs under a
ladder for the slide.

The school roped off the area,
but the students don't seem to mind.
