NO SUPER riots broke out after the annual
springtime celebration spilled into the

Radford police handed out

Hornets vs. Maroons The fourth ranked Maroons jumped :00 out early on the second rated Hornets
and never looked back.

Matt Duke hits Zach Thomas who
fired into the back of the net as time
expired in the first period. Bill
Pilat's team led it 5 to 1 after one.

Brendan Moore kept it rolling
early in the second period with this
tally from in close. Roanoke was on
cruise control by halftime, leading
9-1.

Goalie Matt Madalon was a big
reason for that. Madalon came up with
big save after big save finishing with
11 for the game.

The faceoffs were even but the
Maroons dominated the groundball
category which created opportunities
like this one.

Pat Hurley keeps the
scoreboard operator busy. It was 10-1
before Lynchburg tried to get off the
mat.
*CG final Lynchburg

For the second straight year, a
North Carolina man with a fear of
bridges has won the 25th Annual Seven
Mile Bridge Run in the Florida Keys.

Jason Bodnar says the last two
years have been therapeutic for his
phobia, but he credits his victories
partially to the fact that he just
wanted to get off of the bridge as
