"sting" operation, according to his
attorneys, after the Social Security
Administration destroyed certain
records.

VO-NAT Last Friday- -the last business day


before the Lynchburg Mayor was due to
go on trial- -the defense obtained
documents that shed light on the early
stages of the investigation.

Agents didn't want Hutcherson to know
he was being investigated.

A man named Rob Childress in the
Inspector General's Office "said that
he... tried to get Ms Price's file,"

wrote an un-named investigator, "but
apparently it [had] been destroyed."

Hutcherson came in with all his bank
statements and canceled checks. He
told investigators that "all funds were
returned in February, 2005," one of the
documents says.

An agent with the initials S-R-M
concluded: "Fraud is not an issue,"
that "all monies were accounted
for...."

at the end of Spring Practice.

Copper has been elevated on depth
chart for a number of reason, but he's
solidified himself as a starter in
large part due to his dedication to
watching film.

One of the regulars in the film
room for the linebackers at U-V-A has
been there head coach.

His study habits when it comes to
watching tape started back in High

School when he played for Jim Hickam at
Northside.

Copper is still a walk-on at
U-V-A, but that may change soon, Coach
Groh is in the proccess of deciding who
will get scholarships for the 2006

Basketball Team was tops in the area
this season on the court as they made
it all the way to the State Finals
before falling 1 win short.

The Titans did finish on top of
the voting for the Civitan Club's
Sportsmanship Award that is done by the
Western Virginia Basketball Officials
Association.

Roger Ayres the Head of the
Officials Association was on hand as

the featured speaker as well as to give
the Titans the Award. Hidden Valley's
Head Coach this past Season Steve
Buchanan, who resigned recently, took
great pride in making sure his team won
the right way on the court.
