The Dazzle spent five seasons in
Roanoke and while the team was always
competitive, in reality the basketball

fans in the area never fully embraced
the team. The biggest attendance
nights occurred with there was some
gimic - whether it be Disco or Dora.

The league says there is a chance
a team could stay here if a private
ownership group bought it - but that is
highly unlikely.

rolling four wide through one of th

Denny Hamlin on the bottom of the
track slides up and whacks, Dave
Blaney, who hits Reed Sorensen who has
no choice but to slam into Joe Nemechek
who would see his streak of 40

consecutive races in which he was
running at the finish come to an end.

Things got even more interesting
in the closing laps, but the final five
clicked off without incident.

In the end, Jimmie Johnson held
off Tony Stewart and his Hendrick
Racing teammate Brian Vickers for the
win. The finish was so tight - 16 cars
finished within one second of each
other.
