ended in the drownings of three
teenaged boys in northeastern
Minnesota.

boats and a sonar unit to look for the
three teens.

They've been missing since their
boat capsized Saturday in a lake.

drowned in Lexington, friends and
family gathered to remember him.

16-year-old Charles Volpe
(VOLE-pee) drowned in the Maury River
last weekend.

Yesterday's memorial service was
held at Jordan's Point-- where
authorities discovered his body.

Many who attended the memorial
were students from Rockbridge County
High School -- where Volpe was a
sophomore.

Most gathered under a large white
tent for the service.

Others sat by the makeshift
memorial of flowers that had been
placed next to the old dam that spans
the river.

Authorities recovered the weapon

apparently drowned after their boat
capsized in a Minnesota lake.

remember a Lexington teenager who
drowned a week ago.

Yesterday's memorial service was
held at Jordan's Point-- where
authorities discovered his body.

fatal A-T-V accident.

It happened just after midnight
Sunday near Flowing Springs and Stage
Roads in Botetourt County.

Police say 31-year-old Dennis Ray
Myers, Junior was traveling southbound
on Flowing Springs Road when his ATV
ran off the road, and overturned in a
ditch.

Myers was NOT wearing a helmet.

He was pronounced dead at the
scene.

The cause is still under

teenaged boys in northeastern

Minnesota.

three teens.

They've been missing since their
boat capsized Saturday in a lake.

family gathered to remember him.

getting the Internet for free.

Bland is the first community in
southwest Virginia, and one of only
three in the state to offer wireless
Internet access free to its citizens.

The other two are the city of
Fairfax and parts of *Arlington*
County.

Officials say the installation of
the broadband service is scheduled to

be completed today-- and downtown Bland
will go live on Thursday.

Officials say the cost of the
initial phase was under six-thousand
dollars.

fatal A-T-V accident that happened just
after midnight Sunday in Botetourt
County. Police say 31-year-old Dennis
Ray Myers, Junior was traveling
