Carl Hutcherson was found guilty
tonight of Social Security fraud and
bank fraud.

The federal jury also convicted
him in an attempt to cover up his
crimes.

The investigation began when a bank
official noticed Jerry Falwell
Ministries had donated 32-thousand
dollars to a charity set up by the
Reverend Hutcherson.

Hutcherson immediately withdrew all but
$1,000 of the Falwell gift and used a
good share of it to pay his taxes.

But it was Foley who got the most

identities of a woman and child killed

in an accident in Giles County this
afternoon.

State Police say 47 year old
Jeannie Shelton of Dublin was driving
her Chevy Blazer Southbound on Route
100 toward Dublin around one o'clock
when she crossed over the center line
and hit a truck head-on.

Both Shelton and her two-year-old
grandson Brendan Shelton died at the
scene, neither were wearing their
seatbelts.

An infant in a car seat was also
in the vehicle and was airlifted to
Roanoke Memorial Hospital, there is
still no word on that child's
condition.

The driver of the truck was not
injured.

blood hounds searching their yards.

The man-hunt was sparked around
1:30 in the afternoon after deputies
