Richards was being observed for a
head injury he reportedly

suffered when he fell out of a palm
tree in Fiji.

The 62-year-old Richards suffered a
mild concussion last week

while staying at an exclusive resort.

He was treated in a Fiji hospital
before being airlifted to New Zealand.

It's not known exactly when Richards
was released from the hospital, or
where he went.

May Day is also "Lei Day" in Hawaii.

Yesterday, the Radisson Hotel
competed for the world's longest lei
record.

610- lei were strung together and
draped over the hotel's property.

Nearly 93- thousand flower blossoms
were used- and the lei measured more
than 27- hundred feet long.

Thousands of "Aloha" messages were
entwined in the lei.

Some of them were from children in
New York, who go to school near Ground
Zero.

As for the record attempt, we're
still waiting to hear if the hotel made
history.

end.

Things got even more interesting
in the closing laps, but the final five

In the end, Jimmie Johnson held
