This win will make Givens one of the
most senior members on Salem city
council.

And with the council voting for a

new mayor in July, that could put him
in the running.

But it was Foley who got the most
votes, even though he was the youngest
candidate on the ballot.

This former Salem star football
player may have had some name
recognition, although he credits the
hard work of his friends and family for
helping him win.
