CBS Sports Furyk had his A-game today. Check :00 out the approach at the ninth. I think
he likes it, safely on the dance floor
and it snuggles up close into birdie
range. Furyk fired a 4-under 68 and is
the leader by himself at 11-under.

Trevor Immelman and Retief Goosen
are just a shot back. Immelman puts

this birdie effort right in the jar.
10 golfers are within 5 shots of the
lead headed to the final round.

skating kicked off today at the Roanoke

*CG locator Roanoke

This afternoon was the first time
in four years the public has laced up
their skates at the Civic Center.

After the Ice Station closed
down, the city decided to reopen its
rink to the public.

Today's appeared to be low.

Of course, it had some stiff
competition between college graduations
and local festivals.

Public skate is scheduled for the
next two weekends.

And depending on the turnout and
interest, Civic Center officials will
decide whether it will be a permanent
fixture in Roanoke.
