The three Roanoke County high school
kids arrested Sunday in New York are
back in town.

They're back, but not at school, yet.

In fact, they could be expelled ...with
less than a month left in the school
year.

They each face felony charges for
allegedly pitching paint cans off the
roof of the 20-story Doubletree
Metropolitan Hotel in New York.

Seven 1-gallon cans of paint were aimed
at the 17th Precinct across the street.

N-Y-P-D says they caught the kids in
the act.

They arrested Tyler Moses Moore and
Sean McGhee, both Seniors at Cave
Spring High School along with 17-year
old Brittany Goldberg from Hidden
Valley High.

They allegedly struck a patrolman,
two police cars, three police scooters
and the personal vehicle of another
officer.

It's unclear what role Goldberg played
in Sunday's paint-can-throwing incident
in New York, though she is charged with

assault and trespassing.

The Hidden Valley yearbook indicates
she was a member of the Honor Society.

has been delayed, again.

old Zachary Linkous, after ruling a
defense expert on shootings could NOT
testify.

Linkous is accused of shooting 15
year old Edward Bertrand in the
stomach.

Linkous claims the shooting was
accidental.

His attorneys told the judge
today they needed time to find a NEW
expert, because today's ruling
destroyed their defense.

A new trial date will be set next
month.

GRAPHIC=REDICK J.J. Redick's hectic summer is

already in full swing.

Redick has secured an agent and
has been working out in Los Angeles in
preparation for the June 28th NBA
draft.

This weekend he'll return to the
east coast to pick up his diploma at
Duke's graduation ceremonies on Sunday.

Plus, later this summer after the
draft, Redick will find out just how
"NBA Ready" he really is, as he
competes with 22 others on the U-S-A
Men's Basketball Senior National team
in other words what we all used to call
the Dream Team.

The players trying out for this
team will ultimately make up the squad
that represents the U.S. at the 2006
World Championships in Japan and the
2008 Beijing Olympics. The team
includes the likes of Lebron James,
Dywane Wade and Kobe Bryant.

Darian Grubb was thrust into the
spotlight this season. He was best
known around these parts for helping
Jeff Agnew dominate the late-model
stock car division at what was then the
New River Valley Speedway and is now as
the Motor Speedway. Grubb has come
along way in a short time and he has
enjoyed the ride.
