File Tape Last night the school board voted to
five to two to completely restructure
the magnet school program.

Two of them, the ones at Forest Park
and Lincoln Terrace will be eliminated
next year.

The aviation program will then be
phased out in two years.

Seven other schools will no longer be
called magnet schools.

They are now specialty schools.

Essentially, that redesigns them to
give those schools more autonomy.
