vandals who painted racist and
threatening graffiti along the outside
of Christiansburg High School.

Terry Epperly, Junior, Darren
Mosier, and Brandon Saunders, all of
Christiansburg, face numerous charges,
including felony destruction of
property and threats to bomb a public
building.

Police say Epperly and Saunders
are students at the school. Mosier is
NOT.

Police also say the three were
seen buying paint yesterday at a store.

Co-workers managed to take the

Stadium.

Another ten thousand people crowded
into the stands to watch the
university's 134th commencement
ceremony.

It has been an on-going tradition at
Virginia Tech for the new governor to
speak at graduation during his first
year in office.

This year was no different as
Governor Tim Kaine delivered the key
note address.

of months ago.

duty is commended for his heroism.

Today Virginia's Attorney General
Bob McDonnell presented Sergeant Kevin
Tucker with a plaque this morning for
his bravery.

Last December, Tucker saved a
mother and her infant from their
burning apartment building.

his way to 21 year-old April Elkashef
and her five month-old baby, Kacie.

Tucker still keeps in touch with
them.

Sources within the team
and the city of Roanoke have confirmed
that the UHL team will not return next
season.

2005-06 Vipers Season Team owner Kristin Dixon has not :00 returned calls made to her cell phone
this week, but we are told she will be
in Roanoke on Monday to inform the
Civic Center that the team is folding.

The Vipers still have two years
left on a three year contract, but this
season was a disaster. The team had
the worst record in the 14 team United
Hockey League, and it was dead last in
attendance averaging 15 hundred fans a
night. The team still owes the Civic
Center 29 thousand bucks for this
season and would owe a penalty if it
doesn't honor its contract for next
year. But the Vipers could opt for

bankruptcy.
