OQ=Feedback GRX & music < (END SOT) about the Roanoke County students who

threw paint cans off of a hotel roof in
New York, a couple of viewers
complained about excessive coverage.
One of them (Melissa
Hutcherson/Richmond) was a relative of
one of the adult teens involved.

"I find the media has done quite a slam
job on Moses Moore. Weren't there three
students involved in this incident? How
is it that the only one being in the
spotlight is him? The media has to
realize that we are supposed to help
our children, not humiliate them. Yes,
what these children did was wrong and
yes the judicial system and their
parents will take the appropriate
actions. But it really must be a slow
news day when this is the lead story
every time you turn on the
television...I am very disappointed in
the way my hometown station has
persecuted my nephew and I know that
most of the people that still live
there are too!"

Another subject that brought a

lot of comment was the story on lack of
broadband internet service in many
rural areas. A viewer from Lynchburg
(Linda Coderre) wrote:

"I have a friend in Amherst who can't
get high speed internet access, because
Verizon doesn't have the whatever it is
they need and they told her that they
have no idea as to when they could have
it. So she has to put up with AOL
dial-up, when she could be getting
Verizon DSL cheaper than dial-up.
Welcome to 2006."

However you want to do it...by
U.S. mail, fax or email...your comments
on our news coverage and issues in the
news are always welcome.
