It's been the site of great
victories, but for years Victory
Stadium has been the center piece for
controversy.

Two sides, fighting for two
opposite outcomes have formed in the
Valley, and after a City Council vote
later today a decision may finally dub
one side victorious.

As a result of the recent city
council elections, it appears as though
the bricks will be plucked, and the
bleachers torn from the stands.

But residents aren't counting on
anything.

They know a decision about
Victory Stadium is hard to come by.

Even after the vote and even IF
demolition is approved, Victory Stadium
will remain an issue as Roanoke decides
what should replace the fallen stadium.
