stories.

VO-NAT VO-NAT

ENG#1 The three high school students

accused of throwing paint cans off a
New York City hotel during a field trip
went in front of the Roanoke County
school board last night for an
expulsion hearing. The school board
expelled one student, expelled another
but will suspend that punishment
pending the negotiation of a contract.

The third faces alternative education.
It's hard to say which student got
what punishment because the school
board cannot legally release their
names.

And Fallen state trooper Kevin Manion
was remembered by his collegues in
Richmond yesterday. The 27- year-
old, Bath County native was killed in
February when a rifle went off in the
back seat of a suspects truck.
