Nascar Images Besides running three laps, the
drivers also had to include a pit stop
in their qualifying effort.

The pit stop is usually where the
pole winner is determined.

But Neither Junior nor Tony
Stewart were fast enough to challenge
for the pole.

Here's the starting lineup for
tomorrow night.

Titans vs. Spartans The two teams played a special :00 one game playoff tonight on the neutral
field of historic Calfee Park in
Pulaski County.

Salem would get on the board
first as Nathan Furry hits one to the
left side of the infield, the shortstop
can't field it cleanly and Tony
Spradlin races in from third to put the
Spartans on top of the Titans early.

Salem would keep cranking it, and
I mean cranking it as D.K. Staton turns
on one and rips it to the fence in left
field. The double to the warning track
would chase home Furry. *CG final Salem
4 Coach Jim Stepp and Salem win Hidden Valley their regular season title in baseball 3 in 20 years and clinch a spot in the River Ridge Playoff Game regionals with the 4-to-3 win over

Hidden Valley.
