allegedly robbing a Henry County woman
in her own home.

Police say Antonio and Juanell
juan-L Hairston, and Brandon and Melvin
Thomas knocked on the door of the
woman's house in Ridgeway.

Investigators say the four men
had weapons, entered the home and
demanded money.

The men reportedly also forced a
man in the home to remove his clothing.

Investigators say the crime was
drug-related.

All four suspects are in the
Henry County jail on burglary and
weapons charges.

against Lieutenant Governor Mitch
Landrieu LAN'-drew with 52-percent of
the vote.

Nagin carried majority black
precincts and Landrieu won in majority
white ones.

Many residents who were displaced
by Katrina arrived by bus from as far
away as Houston to vote in the
high-profile runoff election.

In his victory speech - Nagin
said it was time for the city to be one
New Orleans" and added 'the city is
"ready to take off."

company filed for Chapter 11
bankruptcy.

Chip Magee, the Lawyer for New
Fitness says the company plans to
reorganize, so it can stay in the
health club business. The plan could
include consolidating other locations
and opening a new gym in Roanoke that's
conveniently located for people on both
sides of town.

initial enrollment deadline for
Medicares's new prescription drug
benefit ended at midnight on Monday. As
is stands now, those who missed the
deadline will have to pay a penalty if

After devastating floods left
parts of Massachusetts declared
disaster zones, the cleanup begins.

Merrimack River empties into the
Atlantic Ocean, tires, chemical
containers and dead animals from miles
away are strewn across the sand.

Officials have estimated about
14-thousand homes were damaged in 44
communities throughout northeast
Massachusetts due to the worst flooding
in the state in 70 years.

causing lightning storms in Spokane,
Washington. But these kids certainly
don't mind. The National Weather
Service issued a thunderstorm watch
from north-central Oregon, to northwest
Idaho for the threat of more strong

storms later this weekend.

VO NAT And you can never be too
prepared. With hurricane season less
than 2 weeks away, evacuation drills
were conducted yesterday in Atlantic
City, New Jersey. While the state isn't
hit by hurricanes often, it has
happened before. On average New Jersey

every 45 years.

Crowds gathered on the 16-hundred
block of Melrose Avenue as a
neighborhood tried to sort out what had
happened just hours earlier.

Roanoke City Police say around
2:30 in the morning officers heard
multiple gunshots coming from a crowded
party at this house.
