arrest in the weekend shooting that
killed one man and left seven others
injured.

Killed in the shooting was 22
year old TJ Thompson and his family
believes the killing was gang
related.

He is charged with murder and
the use of a firearm.
Police say Roberson was one of

charges.

spokesman for a national safe-driving
campaign.
The judge yesterday reduced the

Lack of rain and a mild winter is
to blame for the high pollen count.

getting more shots just to cope this
year.
Pollen-related problems can be
worse in the Roanoke Valley because of
the mountains.
The Lewis-Gale Allergy Clinic
has been giving out between two-hundred
and three-hundred shots a day.
And the spring allergy season
won't be over for another month.

children and three adults homeless.

The fire started at about
11:30 yesterday at this duplex on
Grayson Avenue. When firefighters got
there heavy smoke was coming from the
windows.
No one was home and no one
was hurt... but firefighters say the
fire started in several different spots
and the cause has been ruled
incendiary.
