Anbar province.

Two crew members are missing.

Hostile fire is not suspected as
the cause of the crash.

A statement from the military

weekend.

57-year-old Wallace Fisher turned
himself in to police last night.

the body of a four-year-old girl swept
away by flood waters yesterday.

her mother's car under 12 feet of water
in the Sinking Creek.

Crews had been searching the
water for 30 hours.

Officials say the girl's mother
went off the road early Friday and into
the creek.

She and a friend escaped, but
they were unable to free Madison, who
was strapped into the backseat.

Officials say the creek had
overflowed its banks because of a storm

that dumped up to six inches of rain
over two days.

Today, Life-Guard helicopter
crews celebrated 25 years of work in
Virginia.

of Victory Stadium.

Children and adults were given an
up close look at the helicopter
ambulances.

While Life-Guard crews specialize
in quick responses, getting to the
scene is only half the battle.

The helicopters are also

trauma care and medical technology.

Virginia's first air ambulance
took flight a quarter century ago, and
since that time the helicopter crews
have rescued thousands of people.

had to face a Major League Pitcher in
Pedro Astacio. The Avs actually had
more hits off Astacio than their
opponent the Potomac Nationals had off
Salem's Starter, but they still came up
short.

GRAPHIC=UVA The Virginia Cavaliers have a

pretty good history when it comes to
Men's Lacrosse. The Wahoos have won 3
National Championships, the Cavs have
also finished runner-up 4 different
times since they have been crowning a
D-1 Champ. U-V-A would have a chance
to add to 1of those numbers on Monday
Afternoon if they could beat Syracuse
and advance to the National Title Game.

ESPN2 Wahoos came into there game
undefeated at 15 and oh and ranked

number 1 in the country taking on the
Orange in a Semi-Final.

Syracuse scored the first goal of
the game and not much went right from
there. Cavs scored the next 6 goals
and eventually took a 9 to 2 lead.
Virginia Scored on 8 of it's first 12
shots in the first quarter.

The Cuse did make a run trailing
by only 3 at halftime.

But it was more of the same in
the second half. 9 players in all
scored *CG final Syracuse for U-V-A, led by Matt Ward a Senior 10 Attackman who tallied 4 goals and did Virginia it with a broken hand. Cavaliers win 17 17 to 10 and move on to the National UVA:16-0 Title Game.

an All-ACC final as they took on U-Mass

who had never made it this far in Men's
Lacrosse Ever.

The Terps were favored to win
this one as the number 2 seed in the
tourney, but the Minuteman used a
smoothering defense and some timely
scoring *CG final Massachusetts to come away with the upset win and 8 U-Mass will add anothe first as they Maryland play in their first ever national Title 5 game with the 8 to 5 win. Game time
against U-V-A on Monday is 1 o'clock.

Motor Speedway got it's first true
racing test during the Nextel All-Star
Race last weekend. Before they raced
the long distance in the Coca-Cola
6-hundred on Sunday. 23 Cup Drivers
were trying to learn more as they raced
half the distance in the Busch Series
Carquest 3-hundred.

FX Matt Kenseth started on the pole
with Jamie McMurray on the outside of
row number 1.

McMurray would pull away and lead
the first couple of laps until he cut a
right front tire while in the lead and
hit the wall hard.

He was not the only Cup Driver to
have trouble early on. Tony Stewart
gets loose coming out of turn four and
nails the outside wall and destroyed
the back end, sending parts all over
the track and even having a spring get
caught on Dave Blaney's car. Both
McMurray and Stewart were treated at a
local hospital and released.

The man who was able to avoid all
the trouble was Carl Edwards who
brought home the 60 car to get a
victory after leading only the final 6
laps.

tommorrow. The 6-hundred mile race is
the longest of the season for the Cup
Cars and it may get even longer, as
Nascar has put in a smaller fuel cell
for the race. That has many of the
drivers and their crew chiefs
predicting the race will be almost as
much on pit road as it is on the race
track itself.

the game as the Indianapolis 5-hundred
will roll off with a field of 33
drivers. One name that everyone sure
heard a lot about last season during

this race was Danica Patrick. She was
able to live up to much of the hype by
finishing in 4th place and leading at
the Brickyard late in the race.

Brian MacLeod lost his sight due
to a hockey accident 18 years ago.

He had given up the game before
hearing about the blind golfers.

for blind golfers and earlier this
year, he won the U.S. Open for blind
golfers.

This week, Brian helped make
history at the Annual Bill Smith Golf
Scramble with the first all blind team.

Jolie already has two adopted
children.

Both of the children had their
last names changed to Pitt-Jolie after
