ABC The race started with all smiles
from the Andretti family as Michael
returned to a race car to drive
alongside his son Marco at the

Brickyard. Sam Hornsish Junior was on
the pole for the race and Lance
Armstrong was behind the wheel of the
pace car.

Lap 67 saw Trouble for Tomas
Scheckter he hit the outside wall then
proceeded to slide all the way across
the race track and t-bone the wall at
the entrance to Pit Road and his day
was done.

While under the caution for
Scheckter's accident, Jaques Lazier
would hit a piece of debris and send it
into the stands, 5 fans were injuried,
thankfully none of them were serious,
the worst of the bunch was just a knot
on the head.

Hornish Junior stayed near the
front for much of the day until while
coming in for a pit stop his fuel hose
got caught, he received a drive through
penalty that put the Definance Ohio
native at the back of the pack.

Dan Wheldon the defeneding
champion had the car to beat for much
of the race, leading more laps than any
other car but he was not a factor at
the end.

This race came down to Marco

Andretti who passed his father Michael
Late in the race and Hornish Junior who
rebounded from the penalty to beat
Marco to the stripe to win his first
ever Indianapolis 5-hundred.

Avalanche vs Nationals Salem hoping that Halloween in
May with Scooby Doobie Doo on hand
would help out the offense.

It didn't work until the bottom
of the 8th and it started with the
bases loaded and Scott Robinson works
his way on by drawing a walk, that
would score Edwin Maysonet and give the
Avs their first run of the game and

they trailed 3 to 1.

Bases Still were still loaded
later in the inning when Jeff Mackor
plays the part of Roger Dorn in Major
League 2 and leans into one. Drew
Sutton would score and we've got
ourselves a rally, 3 to 2 the score.

The Next Batter Mario Garza's
puts a charge into the baseball,
peppering it off the wall in right to
score 2 runs and give Salem the lead by
1.

that meant Byrant needed this
