VO-NAT You may remember this all started two

months when Linda Weber stepped aside
for sixty days after nearly a thousand
people signed a petition calling for
her resignation.

Many in the Cave Spring community
were angry that the athletic director

was fired and over the constant delays
of the new athletic fields.

During that sixty days, an
investigation into Linda Weber found
that 70-percent of the Roanoke County

conference live here on News 7.

QUESTION: Justin, I know you had a
chance to talk to Linda Weber. What
did she have to say?

people want Randy Meck to return as
atheltic director: Any chance that
will happen?

They pelted water balloons not only
at the principal but at the school
librarian.

But the students earned "this
reward" .... librarian Tracey Clark
challenged them to read more and read
they did. The students finished more
than 2,000 books in six weeks.

Today principal Judy Reynolds
along with Clark filled their end of
the deal. they spent most of the day on
the roof reading- and then got showered
with water balloons.
