School Superintendent are over.

As News 7 was first to report, Linda
Weber has decided to retire.

ENG#=1 VO-NAT

*CG locator Roanoke Co.

The announcement was made during a
special session of the school board.

Weber's decision comes after she took
a sixty day leave of absence because of
a petition asking her to resign.

Parents in the Cave Spring Community
were angry over the firing of the
athletic director and the constant
delays of the new athletic fields.

The school board chairman says Weber
will be surely missed in the school

The Bedford Medical Center tells us
that allergy cases are declining
sharply, and for now, anyway, there are
"no major problems". They remind you to
drink plenty of fluids during hot
summer days.

Family Care of Blacksburg has also seen
a letup in some allergies. And they're
already thinking ahead to the NEXT
school year, reminding you that this is
a good time to get those physicals
done.

And the Bonsack Family Practice reminds
you that with the hot summer sun back
with us, dont forget to apply sunscreen

it.
