for months when he resigned from the

contract as Cave Spring's athletic

His dismissal as A-D touched off
months of controversy over
superintendent Linda Weber.
He told us back in March he was
let go because he complained about the
constant delays of the new athletic
fields at Cave Spring.
Meck told News 7's Justin McLeod
over the phone last night that he had
no comment.

The board of supervisors decided
to delay a decision on a subdivision at
the Black Diamond Ranch until Monday.
Opponents of the plan worried
about developing the 16-hundred acres
to make way for 103-single family homes
on lots ranging from five to 65-acres.
Outside of destroying the quiet
of the region, opponents also worried
that part of this low-lying parcel is
in a floodplan.
The board also decided to
continue its funding of the library.
Three-thousand dollars have been
allocated for this year.
